Terry Fox is a Canadian who right leg was amputated due to bone cancer when he was 18. He was then so moved by the suffering of cancer patients, particularly children, that he decided to start his "
Marathon of Hope" three years later to run from coast to coast in order to raise money for cancer research.
Unfortunately, Terry was not able to finish his run, and he died at 23 years old because of cancer. Despite the lost of Terry, his spirit is still remain until today. The Terry Fox Run is still running around the world every year to raise fund for cancer research and for all the unfortunate people outside.
The Terry Fox Run this year in KL will be held at 4th November. Venue and time yet to be announced.

PS: "My friends, we are very lucky to live healthily and comfortably but we don't realise.
We have the time and money to go for a movies and take sushi at lunch, but some don't.
For many unfortunate people in the world, the things we are having which seems ordinary may be a luxury for them, and we still complain and ask for more....
For many unfortunate people in the world, they are struggling and they really need our help even though its just a little.
Who wanna join me for the run ?" - VC
